SUMMARY:Taste of Saint Augustine
DESCRIPTION:Taste of St. Augustine takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday\, April 27\, 2025\, at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. This annual outdoor food festival presents “tastes” from participating St. Augustine restaurants and is presented by EPIC Behavioral Health Care. The day’s proceeds go to this community-based non-profit organization. \nMore than 20 of St. Augustine’s favorite restaurants and food trucks participate each year\, offering tastes of some of their most popular dishes. Food lovers purchase tickets for $1.00 each and pay one to five tickets for each taste. The organizers provide a map listing the eateries and what they offer\, so it’s easy to find your favorite restaurant or cuisine and work out from there. \nTaste of St. Augustine has become one of the city’s premier annual events. Visitors can sample delicious foods from local restaurants and food trucks\, and vote for the coveted “People’s Choice” award. A panel of food service professionals and dignitaries taste every offering and choose winners in five categories: Best Family\, Best Ethnic\, Best Upscale\, Best Dessert\, and Best Beverage. \nThere are plenty of fun arts and crafts activities for children\, and local bands perform on the Front Porch stage. EPIC also hosts the Race to the Taste 5K\, which takes place in the morning on the same day. Race registrants receive a free ticket to Taste of St. Augustine. \nAdmission: $5.00 per person and taste tickets are $1.00 each with restaurants charging between one and five tickets per taste. Entry is free to those who participate in Race to the Taste. Free parking is available at the Amphitheatre. \nWhen: Sunday\, April 27\, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. \nWhere: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located at 1340C A1A S. in St. Augustine\, Florida 32084. \nParking: This is a popular and fun event\, and there will be a free shuttle from R.B. Hunt Elementary to the Amphitheatre. \nAll proceeds from A Taste of St. Augustine benefit EPIC Behavioral Healthcare which was established in 1973 as a community-based non-profit organization. Licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families\, EPIC was created to provide substance abuse prevention\, intervention\, outpatient treatment\, and aftercare services.
